One of the first steps was to remove the body panels. If we could have only asked ASC back in the day to use aluminum or something other than bare steel a lot of rust would have been avoided. The passenger door looks worse than it is, as some of this is old glue and then surface rust from the metal brackets. Even in the best of conditions it would be rusty 30 years later. So a long process of grinding off bolts and trying to document well the way these panels were attached through holes in the doors and sides and mounted on top of the factory valences in the front and back.
