Whole car worth of parts or sale

All – I’ve got a complete 780, + half another car that I will unfortunately be parting out to sell. Anything that doesn’t sell will be scrapped and destroyed. Unfortunately I cannot keep these cars or parts any longer, I need the space and I need to clean up the yard. I’ve already had to cut up a perfectly good fuel tank, next are the front fenders – I have two pairs of them that I cannot store anymore. I can tell you that I do not have any amps or radios, those are gone. The Nivo shocks are shot. There is no engine, it was a V6 with the corresponding rims. The interior is beige but burned up from the sun. I have keys/lock sets. Any interior plastics are very brittle! It is a risk to remove and send but I can try.

Please let me know what you’re looking for and what you’d like to pay for the parts. I can do eBay if you’re more comfortable that route. I can ship worldwide.

Hi Dan, Always sorry to see these cars being parted out but I understand it becomes necessary at some point. Any pictures of these parts cars? Could you register them please so they get added on the parts car page. That would also be a good place to load the pictures. The cars are in Florida right?

The car is already registered under my name and is located in Florida. Pictures of it will be posted below. Very much a shame to part this car in the shape it is in but I am left with no other options and no time. The second parts car is already gone but as you can see in the pictures I have a vast amount of parts from it. I can try finding a bill of sale for the vin of the second car. Again, the boxes and trunk of the car pictured are all spare parts. I have windows, fenders, trim pieces, seat motors and a bunch of other parts that are in storage as well that need to go.

    Hi!
Do you have the metal sheet that connects the radiator and the plastic air guide under the front bumper?

It is the part number 9 in the picture below :

Hi, I apologize, for some reason I did not get an alert that there was a post to my message!

I believe I do have it. A few days ago, I just removed the bumper, grille and associated parts so it should be easy to get a picture of it for you. I should be able to do this tonight.

Can someone let me know what other special parts I should pull from this 780?

I have the headlights and tail lights removed that I will save. I plan to remove some exhaust pipe since that has come up as difficult to find before. Also the sunroof will be pulled along with all computers and engine wiring, and fuel door. I’ve saved glass from the last 780 and front fenders from it but no one seems to be interested in glass or sheet metal for some reason. Bumpers as well seem to get very little attention so these will likely not be saved. Anything interior I should remove? Dash is cracked badly.

Mika, not good news as it does not appear that I have this particular part. I have the air dam (#1) removed, condenser and radiator out, bumper off and I don’t see it in the pile or parts. I don’t think I removed this part to remove the engine, that was a few years ago though and my memory may not be that great. It was getting dark when I was looking, the last place it could possibly be is the trunk but I doubt it is in there. Do you happen to have a picture of where it mounts to on the car? It is hard to tell where it would bolt or clip to by the above illustrations.

    Hi!

Here is the part pictured. It is that rusty part under the radiator and air dam. It connects them together. Thanks for looking!

I need a new one because mine is so rusty. BTW. Is your sunroofs frame rusty or in OK condition? Any idea how much it would cots to ship the sunroof glass + frame to Finland?

Ah! That is much helpful. That is why I couldn’t find it, it was still on the bottom of the radiator! Glad I did not throw the radiator away yet. Here are photos below, very mild surface rust, I can sandblast and paint it flat black prior to shipping so you can bolt it right on. The sunroof has a rusty frame on the back passenger corner. Not great looking, photo attached. The rest of it seems to be fine, I will remove it soon and see if it is salvageable if you are still interested. It is a shame because this sunroof only had mild rust 5 years ago, what you see in the photo is the result of sitting parked the whole time.

    Hi!

Yes! That is the part! How much would you like to have for it if you sandblast it and paint it or if you just sell it as it is?

I have been looking for this part a long time!

Hi again dn010 ! I really like to buy that part. I think that I have to pass the sunroof because I have one with quite good frame and one with not so good frame. If the frame of yours would have been perfect I would have been interested in it.

But like I said I´m very interested in that other part!

    Hi dn010.

I am really interested in some parts.

It is side window frames for both left and right side. Please see picture and red arrows.

Especially the lower frame gets rusty in our Nordic climate. There is a chance that yours are solid since the car is in Florida. Can you send some pictures?

For dismounting, please see article by Jonas Hagberg on the homepage of this website.

    Thanks

    Nicklas
