Power windows are dead

Hi!
My passenger side power window has been dead since I purchased the car but the drivers side has been working. But not anymore.
I have changed my door panel to new one and I had to remove the wires from the power window switches. Now when I put them back the power window is completely dead. I have tried to clean the switch contacts but it did not help.
I can´t hear any sound from the motor or from the J relay which is related to power windows. I assume this means that the problem is in the switches or in the wires. Does that sound correct?
I have brand new original switches but I haven´t tried them yet.
There is also a very strange problem with the power windows. They only move when the key is in OFF – position. I have also changed them to new ones.

Tried the new switches – no help.

Problem solved! The problem was in the mounting point behind the Lh-jetronic box. I cleaned that and now both windows work.

Glad you figured it out. I’m curious the fix, was it the ground wires for the switch on the mounting point you refer to?

I wrote incorrectly. I meant the grounding point. Yes I cleaned the ground wires.
