Mystery wire found from the driver side upper tower wiring.

I found this look Single wire, Green/Red after doing first maintenance of
a 1990 with a B280F . Car doesn’t seem to have a problem missing this
cable. Maybe a possible test point. Green-Red on my 1989 wiring book
point to temperature sensor.

As I recall, the temp sensing wires are all part of the wiring harness and not run as a single wire, at least it so on my ’87. I can take a look at mine again, as I have the engine removed, where this wire might lead.

I figured it out. It is the +12V for the engine compartment light.
