780 Parts!

    I tried to keep as much as I possibly could from my parts 780 before I sent it off but unfortunately I could not keep it all. Below is a list of things I can think of off the top of my head, I may have other odds and ends. I don’t have anything highly sought after like shocks, headlights/tail lights, plastic radio surround and things of that nature.

     

    Front fenders, pair, a few minor dings, blue in colour

    Window glass, pair, rear (not the rear windscreen), no cracks

    B280F V6 ECUs

    Air bag ECU

    Brake ECU

    Misc stainless strips and trim that are on the side of the car

    Misc interior trim, plastic and fabric pieces (Beige)

    Seat frames, ECUs & motors

    AW71 transmission

    Bellhousing for B280F

    Fuel tank

    drive shaft (V6)

    Sun roof rear drain tubes

    Misc dash wood trim

    Misc dash plastic vents

    Head/AC control unit

    Heater power mirrors

    3rd brake light

    fuse block, relays

    Air bag unit (steering wheel)

    Seat belt units, both sides, I believe these contain an airbag trip sensor

    Door seals/gaskets

    Truck seal/gasket

     

    I will list anything else I may have after sorting through some of the boxes containing this stuff.

    Alright my friends, here are a few pictures of only some of the parts I have, I will be getting more pictures together in the next few days. I own two other, different cars and am on two other forums regarding those cars and parts for them. Not only that, I work 40 hours a week and have a wife and two kids so please bear with me when it comes to responding or pictures. For anyone who is worried about transactions, I can place parts on eBay although I try not to due to their outrageous fees!

    —Some of the interior parts are either sunburned or cracked. They are good for refurbishment or if you’re missing a panel all together!

    Unfortunately I do not. My second 780 (which I have yet to register) came with 3 doors but they were all from a Volvo 760 or similar. They are different than the 780.

    Sigh… was side swiped today and they took out my drivers side mirror.

    How much for the drivers side power/heated side mirror?  Or how much for both?

    I’ll check around the car for other missing pieces too.

    Oh, that’s right, do you have the little pieces that cover where the headlight wipers would be.  Tiny rectangular covers below the headlights?

    Hello Dan,

    i am interested in those two curved pieces that snap on the drip rail on the driver’s side.  I could use the one that runs up the “A” Pillar and the one that runs up the “C” Pillar.  You have some pictured I think in your photos but I can’t tell what side or end they are for.

    Nicholas, I do indeed have both mirror assemblies however the glass may be foggy or otherwise dirty to the point the mirror may not be as clear as new glass, I will take a photo of them and we can discuss from there. I may also have the MPH speedometer you’re seeking, hopefully I did not throw it away!

     

    Carl – Is it the stainless curved pieces?

    ECU, ICM and wiring harness for both have been sold.

     

    I have a few parts pending sale but no payments yet. If anyone is feeling worried about dealing from the forum – no problem – I can list the parts on eBay so you have the “buyer protection” comfort, plus you can view my feedback.

    Thanks for checking back. Hopefully some of these rare parts will make it into the hands of someone who needs them. Do you still have the original radio or EQ?

    Yes I will be frequenting here more now that I’m preparing to fix up my 780 to driving standards once again. Years ago, I sold two pairs of amplifiers so they’re all gone. I may have wiring for them but that doesn’t help if you don’t have them at all. Radio – I’ve never had an original radio in either of my cars unfortunately.
