The best leather conditioner I have found is out of England called “Hide Food” by Connolly. See the Amazon link below. It takes several applications for it to work into the leather. I’m sure there is a limit to what can be done when the leather is too old and dry. I’ve wondered as well what are some of the best techniques to restore the leather and if you dye it, do you fill up the pours of the leather where it won’t take conditioner in the future? I’m sure it depends on the dye. If you look at the photos of the 780 seats when they were new, they were very soft and not pulled tight like most are from being dried out.
